Our History: Trailer Distributor Since 1989
Pierquip was founded in 1989 by Pierre Labelle on his family’s land. At the time, Pierquip imported trailers for the agricultural sector and later proceeded to widen its activity to sell and lease trailers to individuals and transport companies.
In 2015, Pierquip took a new turn and decided to focus exclusively on the sale of new and used semi-trailers for customers in the transportation and construction industries.
In 2023, Pierre’s son, Steven, took over from Pierquip as Director of Business Development. The company continues to stand out for its expertise, the excellence of its customer service and the distribution of high-end trailers.
With Steven, Pierquip always relies on quality and reliability, strengthening its position as a trusted player in the industry.
1989
Pierre, fondateur de Pierquip, change de voie. Il passe de camionneur à représentant de lignes de remorques. Pierquip est fondé en 1991.
1996
Pierquip doit être agrandi. L’entreprise se dirige vers le commercial, les semi-remorques, les remorques de transport et les remorques vocationnelles.
2000

Pierre Labelle
President
President of Pierquip, Pierre Labelle began selling trailers on his parents’ land in Mirabel while he worked as a truck driver.
He has dedicated more than 35 years to developing his business starting with utility and cargo trailers, then selling flatbed trailers, platform and b-train trailers. Over the years, he carried out several expansions that have allowed Pierquip to expand its offer and keep a larger inventory of trailers. In 2000, Pierquip began selling refrigerated and dry vans in addition to side dump trailers made of steel and aluminum.
Staying attentive to changes and trends in the industry and being involved in several Canadian and American transportation associations, Pierre Labelle is committed to offering cutting-edge solutions and quality service through Pierquip.
His in-depth knowledge of the trucking and transportation market combined with his passion for innovation has allowed him to position Pierquip as a leader in the industry.

Steven Labelle, Director of Business Development at Pierquip, brings dynamism and valuable expertise to the family business.
His diverse background has shaped his global perspective of the business world. As a Bachelor of Business and Administration Management graduate and with his experience holding various positions in successful companies, Steven Labelle is a key player in the development of Pierquip.
